Maintenance automation engineer

Maintenance / Automation Engineer * Maintenance / Automation Engineer * Hinckley * Days, Monday-Friday * FMCG Manufacturer * GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 We are working with an established FMCG manufacturing company based in Hinckley. They are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team on Days (Mon-Fri) in return for a salary in the region of GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 along with career progression. The Maintenance Engineer needs to possess a strong hands-on background in mechanical and electrical skills directly related to operating in a 24/5 manufacturing environment. Requires considerable working knowledge of PLC rsquo;s, drives, HMI rsquo;s and associated electronic equipment. Must be willing and able to undertake additional training and development as needed to work to and uphold standards. Key Responsibilities include: * Following planned, preventative maintenance schedules * Reacting quickly to machinery breakdowns * Reading engineering drawings and schematics * Servicing machinery * Mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair * PLC fault finding and programming * Working with other departments to ensure production continues running * Recording all work carried out Qualifications Experience required: * City and Guilds / Level 3 qualification in Engineering * Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship How To Apply * Contact: James O rsquo;Sullivan * Job reference number: 1952 * If you would like to find out more, simply click apply.
