Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for an experienced EC I Commissioning Technician for a long term role based at Sellafield. This role is until at least July 2025 and we are looking for someone who is available for a start in August. The Commissioning Technician reports to the Commissioning Engineer. The Commissioning Technician will not have commissioning personnel reporting to them. About The Job The Commissioning Technician is responsible for: middot; Ensuring Safety is the highest priority on the project with a continued strive towards Zero Harm. He ensures that he is a role model for all aspects of safety, ensuring a proactive approach to nuclear, radiological, conventional and environmental safety middot; Carrying out all testing activities throughout all stages of commissioning middot; Contributing to the production of test documentation middot; Contributing to the initiation and implementation of FOBs and TQs middot; Performing testing activities for witnessing by third parties middot; Application and removal of Temporary Commissioning Aids middot; Contributing to the recording of supporting data in accordance with test requirements middot; Ability to utilise completions management systems to manage commissioning activities middot; Ability to perform commissioning work against a project schedule middot; Ability to take part in multi discipline design reviews and work with the engineering team Inside IR35 GBP41.23 per hour Weekly pay About You We are seeking an experienced technician who has the following experience. * Time served or equivalent in an engineering discipline e.g. piping or electrical discipline * Preference for ONC or equivalent or route to achieve the qualification * Project commissioning experience * Any other commissioning experience of a distinct advantage Relating to security clearance, we would you to have the ability to obtain BPSS, P4 pass and achieve any other client security requirements which are essential.
