Job description:

Press and Mould Repair Technician We are actively recruiting for a toolmaker to join a world leading company who manufacture in the UK. This is a position based solely at our Southend plant, covering on a rotational basis a shift pattern of 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm. You will join a multi skilled team supporting manufacturing at this key site. Role Responsibilities bull; Carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance on press and mould tools bull; Providing engineering solutions when immediate spares aren #39;t available (retrofitting, reverse engineering or modifying equipment) bull; Working in line with site tooling techniques and best practices and at all times complying with Health and Safety regulations bull; Maintaining accurate maintenance and inspection logs bull; Assisting in procurement of purchased spares. Skills Qualifications bull; Time Served Apprenticeship in a Toolroom or precision Engineering field. bull; Strong experience working with press and mould tools. bull; Experience working in a fast-moving production environment. bull; CAD experience would be an advantage
