Roadside Technician ndash; Edinburgh Salary: Basic GBP38,100 per annum, OTE GBP60,000 Working Hours: Flexible Shift Patterns Available Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to provide a professional, effective and quality roadside assistance service to our clients rsquo; customers. You need to be a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Vehicle Technician who possess a natural aptitude for mechanical diagnosis and repair. Start and finish on your driveway, (paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home)! Roadside Repair Assistance To attend breakdowns. To affect all repairs efficiently, competently, and to the correct standard. To maintain and develop skills in all aspects of repair, service and maintenance. To make full use of all equipment and training provided to ensure maximum roadside repair rate. Customer Service To ensure that the service provided to the customer is of the highest standard in keeping with the brand image and the company rsquo;s standards. Vehicle Maintenance To ensure that the Customer Service Vehicle is correctly maintained and serviced. To ensure that the interior and exterior of the vehicle are clean and tidy at all times that all parts and equipment are on board. Telephone Assistance To provide, when requested, technical assistance on the telephone to Operators, Customers and Co-ordinators. Administration To ensure that all paperwork and procedures relating to the vehicle, parts and assistance is completed in a timely manner. To ensure all warranty and goodwill procedures are followed. Education/Training/Qualifications Essential: * Good standard of general education * NVQ 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and repair or equivalent * Full Category B Driving Licence ndash; NO MORE THAN 6 points
