Intermediate Electrical Engineer (Built environment) - Colchester CTJ9 GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 Permanent This is an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer at an intermediate level to become part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, providing a wide range of services across the majority of industry sectors including commercial, health, education, defence, residential and community. Our client has a network of offices across the UK and is looking to grow their team based in Colchester. Responsibilities of the Intermediate Electrical Engineer: Ensure all projects are completed to a high technical standard, on time and on budget. Carry out fee earning work, getting involved in design of schemes where appropriate and particularly where high-level technical expertise is required. Complete tasks as assigned by the team leader including assisting in the formation of sound engineering, providing cost effective solutions. Meet with clients to establish project brief and budget costs for client consideration. Draw up detailed specifications and drawings against client #39;s briefs. Review tenders received and prepare tender reports and recommendations. Project manage site works from commencement to completion. The ideal Electrical Engineer will: Have a degree/master #39;s in engineering. Be a member of the Chartered institute of Building Services Engineers and/or The Energy Institute (or equivalents) - Preferable. Have Chartered Engineer status or approaching. Have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Have a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Have experience of Amtech (Electrical) design software.
