Join our Power Transmission Distribution team as a Quality Advisor to be based on the Isle of Skye Region and you rsquo;ll be part of our legacy. As a Quality Advisor you will be working on some of the biggest Power projects across Skye supporting our colleagues to deliver #39;Right First Time - Every time #39; quality projects to our clients. What you #39;ll be doing As a Quality Advisor you will have the following accountabilities: To support ldquo;Right First Time rdquo; every time, external quality certification process, and to drive the ldquo;Elimination of Waste rdquo;, and reduction in the ldquo;Cost of Quality rdquo; all through: Support and facilitate Quality Management planning Challenging current systems and processes to ensure best practice and continual improvement Provide advice and coaching on Quality issues Interface with audit function to support locally where required Support contracts to ensure they are compliant with Balfour Beatty contract specific requirements Assist in the creation and maintenance of Quality Plans to meet contractual requirements Review subcontractor and supplier Quality Management Systems, Quality Plans and ITP rsquo;s, documentation and records ensuring they meet stated requirements. Co-ordinate client inspection visits; review and distribution of inspection reports Assist in the management and analysis of Non-Conformances and Corrective Action data Attend Kick off meetings and establish how defined Quality requirements will be implemented Promote the awareness of quality principles through targeted communication, education, and training Live the Balfour Beatty Values. Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm. Support the delivery of the Sustainability 2030 roadmap. Support the business unit external accreditation process (including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and industry licences) to ensure it can operate in its chosen sector. Who we #39;re looking for Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: A working knowledge of the sector in which the role is to operate Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 9001 requirements and applications High level of communication skills both written and orally Membership or willing to work towards CQI Practitioner or Member status Competent user of modern office computer systems e.g., Microsoft Office Personal Attributes: Has an ability to gather, analyse and evaluate facts. Has an enquiring and questioning approach to audit work.
