Assistant bar manager

Do you have Bartending experience? This is a great opportunity to join the friendly Bar team as as Assistant Bar Manager in one of the newest and largest Colleges within the University of Oxford. The Bar caters for students and conference guests, and runs regular events. A range of benefits include free use of the College gym, free meals on duty and season ticket loans for travel. As the Assistant Bar Manager, you will work alongside the Bar Manager. You will also be responsible for running the Bar in the absence of the Bar Manager, including supervision of casual bar staff. Assistant Bar Manager responsibilities: * Bar service * Building excellent customer relations * Ensuring that the bar is stocked/ provisioned correctly * Storing alcohol correctly and safely * Maintaining the bar area to the highest standards of cleanliness. You will also be responsible for running the Bar in the absence of the Bar Manager, including supervision of casual bar staff. The post is for 35 hours per week, and will involve evening and weekend work
