EXPERIENCE IN ELECTRICAL, CABLE OR MERCHANT SALES EXPERIENCE HUGELY PREFERENTIAL Senior Company Buyer Job Type: Permanent / Full Time Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience My client is the largest supplier of cables and cable accessories in the UK. The successful candidate will manage the existing Purchasing Procurement Department and manage the purchasing for all Company branches, both in the UK and our international operations. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: middot; Manage supplier relationships on behalf of the company. middot; Negotiate costs and delivery lead times with suppliers. middot; Manage the documentation associated with purchase orders. middot; Analysing stock reports and monitor stock levels. middot; Managing the buying of stock from overseas. middot; Overseeing and monitoring contracts with suppliers. middot; Sourcing new suppliers in the UK and Abroad. middot; Liaise with Sales team members regarding their customers rsquo; enquiries and order status. middot; Managing and purchasing all types of PPE and other consumables. middot; Negotiate establish long term supply contracts such as utilities, insurances and other services. The ideal candidate will already have a proven track record within purchasing and team management.
