Senior structural engineer

Our client, a multi-disciplinary consultancy who deliver industry-leading engineering services, are looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer. You will be based out of Norwich but work on a flexible / Hybrid basis. You will lead mentor the team, including the development of junior engineers, whilst leading projects to ensure they are delivered successfully on time. Other duties include: * Deliver drawings, high-quality designs, and reports using engineering materials including concrete, steel, masonry, timber, together with soils, foundations and drainage, and in a form that can readily be checked by another member of staff. * Apply Eurocodes, British Standards, current Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations and other design codes/information as required * Site investigations, complete inspections, and resolve any issues. * Project design from commencement to completion. * Represent the company at design team meetings * Clear communication regarding matters of structural safety, and keep up-to-date with information provided by CROSS * Business Development Skills Experience * Solid background in Structural Engineering * Experience of leading a team * Good Report Writing Skills * Strong manual dexterity * Ideally Chartered Membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers and/or the Institution of Civil Engineering. * AutoCAD * Tekla * REVIT Benefits * Bonus scheme * 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and increasing with length of service. * Flexible pay scheme / Salary Sacrifice to buy - additional holidays, private health insurance, dental insurance, HIVE scheme, Enjoy Tech, cycle to work scheme and travel card. * Pension scheme * Income protection scheme * Electric vehicle scheme * Agile/ Hybrid working * Mental health first aiders * Professional membership * Free eye-test vouchers * Employee Assistance Program * Death in service scheme
