Management accountant

We are in search of a PQ Management Accountant who can manage financial operations and deliver accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate must possess excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of accounting principles. With a substantial team size, they are committed to providing affordable and quality housing to people in need. Their office is based in Carlisle. Description The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include, but may not be limited to; Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Manage financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting. Implement and maintain financial systems and procedures. Analyse financial data and provide financial advice to the management team. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Assist with annual audits and liaise with external auditors. Develop and manage financial policies to improve operational efficiency. Support the finance team in day-to-day operations.Profile A successful Management Accountant should have: Not for Profit and Charities background. Ability to commute to Carlisle. Relevant professional qualifications in Accounting or Finance. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
