Position: Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistant Needed (Monday - Wednesday) Sector: Primary Education Classroom: Special Educational Resource Base Location: Cardiff (CF14) Pay: GBP90.30 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay) Start Date: Immediate Hours: 08:30-16:00pm Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We #39;re currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic team in a Primary School in the North of Cardiff. This part-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children aged 3-6 with severe and complex needs. Responsibilities: Assist in the Early Years Special Educational Resource Base within the Primary School. Provide support to children with a variety of needs, including autism, global delay, and physical difficulties. Assist with personal care duties, including nappy changing. Work alongside experienced SEN teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment. Requirements: Previous experience in SEN education or care is preferred. Ability to remain calm, patient, and nurturing in challenging situations. Demonstrated resilience and adaptability to sudden changes in behaviour. Capacity to work independently with minimal guidance. Comfortable with supporting personal care tasks. Commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with SEN.
