Trainee Paraplanner A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a well-established IFA practice for an ambitious individual looking to pursue career either as a Paraplanner or IFA in the future Job Description: * Working alongside current paraplanner who is now a qualified IFA ready to take on advising clients * Research, recommendations, fact finds, report writing * Assisting the IFA with preparation for meetings * Spending time with the IFA Support Administration team, processing new and existing business, supporting the IFAs, liaising with providers * Ensuring all work is carried out adhering to FCA legislation * Compliance administration * Liaising with clients * Ensuring all information is recorded correctly * Using Intelligent Office back-office system * Involved with HNW clients; dealing with pensions and investments as well as protection cases * Working towards the Level 4 Diploma in financial planning Person Specification: * Ideally somebody with 2-3 years rsquo; experience of working in an IFA support role and looking for career progression * Graduates that can demonstrate a desire for a career within wealth management will be considered * Organised, efficient, professional, team player * Strong communication, client relationship skills * Somebody that works to a high standard, ensuring clients receive an exceptional service * Numerate, ambitious, happy to work towards the level 4 Diploma in financial planning Additional Information: * Newbury based, 2 days working from home * Salary depending on experience, likely to be GBP28-35k * 9-6pm Monday to Friday * Full support to acquire Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (including materials, study leave, exam costs) Refer a friend and earn GBP100!
