Our client is a Midlands based Software Development company offering Identity Access Management, Secure Payments, personal data management to companies Nationally. They are looking for a permanent individual to join their expanding team and who is able and willing to attend their Birmingham based office at least one day a week. They are seeking to hire a Software Developer with experience and expertise in developing robust and scalable solutions using the Microsoft .net technology stack. This is an exciting time to join the company as it plans to grow its product offering into the UK market place and as a result a new developers and testers are being recruited to meet this growth. You will also need the ability to work in a local independent team or as part of a co-located team with other UK based team members. The role itself is very varied and will require the following skills and experience: * Analyse software requirements to create technical and end user specifications. * Design robust and scalable solutions in an Agile environment. * Create and maintain unit tests. * Test and review code for technical accuracy, standards, and functional compliance to the design. * Performance improvement and refactoring of legacy code * Work within deadlines in relation to product release timelines, and consistently complete assigned development tasks in required timeframes * Follow and contribute to software development processes and standards Essential Requirements * Mid to Senior Level in software application development in C#, MS.Net Frameworks. * Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming * Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases (SQL Server) * Excellent knowledge of modern IDEs * Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. * Winforms / WPF is essential * SQL Server / TSQL / Performance tuning * Testing frameworks such as NUnit and MSTest * GIT * JIRA If you have all the essential experience we would like you to apply with your CV in the first instance and our managing consultant will call you to discuss the role if suitable.
