Key duties and responsibilities: Plan, prepare and deliver assigned programmes of teaching and learning activities to an individual pupil modifying and adapting activities as necessary under the overall direction and supervision of a teacher. Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment. Liaise with staff and other relevant professionals and provide information about pupils as appropriate. Use teaching and learning objectives to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons/work plans as appropriate within agreed systems of supervision. Assess the needs of a pupil and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support pupil #39;s learning. Support pupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate. Develop and promote positive working relationships with staff, pupils and parents and promote the school positively at all times. Required Qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English Education: Minimum of GCSE level education Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable Volunteering or personal experience working with Children/Young people Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in School Salary: GBP83.85 - GBP95 Per day If you are interested in the role please apply with your CV All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
