Responsibilities and duties Reporting to the Plant Manager you will: middot; Supporting in the delivery of all major project and overhaul maintenance during the annual outage. middot; Day-to-day management of contractors working on assigned projects. middot; Producing and maintaining project documentation middot; Working on ad-hoc projects throughout the year, such as, turbine inspections, conveyor overhauls, plant performance and efficiencies. middot; Ensuring project delivery is completed within the assigned time frames and in a safe and efficient way. Understand the Permit to Work process and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required. middot; Ensuring all works are completed within the parameters of the project budget. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: middot; HNC or higher Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification, HND / degree is preferable. middot; At least five years #39; experience working in a Power Station or similar Engineering environment such as Refinery, COMAH site, Oil Gas etc. middot; Ability to manage 3rd party contractors and manage project to be on time and on budget.
