Air Import/Export Coordinator - Egham - Up to GBP38,000 Our client, who are a multi-site Freight Forwarder in the UK and overseas are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Air freight Coordinator to join their team in Egham. As an Air Import/Export Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the exportation of goods by air, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery for our clients. Your knowledge, excellent communication skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks will contribute to the success of their freight forwarding operations. Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to GBP38,000 Working Hours: Monday- Friday 9am - 5.30pm Benefits Private Healthcare Bonus at Christmas Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the Import Export of goods via Air freight. Communicate and liaise with overseas agents, carriers, and clients. Arrange and track shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations. Monitor shipment progress and resolve any issues or delays. Coordinate with warehouse and transportation teams for efficient cargo handling and delivery. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and providing status updates. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of Export activities. Requirements: Clear communication, Telephone manner interpersonal skills are essential. Must have a minimum of 2/3 years #39; experience with a UK based freight forwarder. In-depth knowledge of air Import or Export procedures, and documentation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in using freight forwarding software and MS Office applications. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
