Project manager water utilities

TEXO Asset integrity are seeking a skilled and experienced Water Utilities Project Manager with expertise in rope access and confined space entry to oversee various projects within our organisation, based in Central Belt, Northumberland and Yorkshire on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, from planning and scheduling to budgeting and resource allocation. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of water utility systems. Responsibilities: bull; Project Planning and Execution bull; Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones in coordination with stakeholders. bull; Ensure that projects are executed according to specifications, budget, and schedule. bull; Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly. bull; Safety Compliance: bull; Implement and enforce safety protocols, including rope access and confined space entry procedures. bull; Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards. bull; Provide training and guidance to project team members on safety protocols and best practices. bull; Resource Management: bull; Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success. bull; Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to secure necessary equipment and materials. bull; Manage project budgets and expenditures to meet financial targets. bull; Stakeholder Communication: bull; Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. bull; Communicate project status, updates, and milestones effectively to all stakeholders. bull; Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Requirements: bull; Proven experience as a Project Manager in the water utilities industry, with a focus on infrastructure projects. bull; Certification in rope access and confined space entry (e.g., SPRAT, IRATA, Confined Space Entry Training). bull; Strong understanding of water utility systems, including treatment processes, distribution networks, and regulatory requirements. bull; Excellent leadership and team management skills. bull; Proficiency in project management software and tools. bull; Strong communication and interpersonal skills. bull; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
