Operations engineer

Job Title: Operations Engineer Location: Glasgow, Scotland Salary: Between GBP55,000-GBP60,000 per annum My client are responsible for the auditing and monitoring of contractors for a busy road network in Scotland. They #39;re looking for an Operations Engineer to join the team based in Glasgow. Responsibilities of the Operations Engineer: middot;Review and investigate contractual and commercial matters on supplier contracts. middot;Produce monthly programmes middot;Co-ordination of the unit team to ensure successful delivery of service middot;Discuss unit performance to identify concerns and mitigate any issues middot;Contribute to the annual report middot;Produce winter and incident response reports middot;Attend progress, design and programming meetings middot;Communicate efficiently both internally and externally Requirements of the Operations Engineer: middot;BEng in Civil Engineering middot;Chartered Civil Engineer or equivalent middot;Auditing experience middot;Commercial acumen middot;Experience working on maintenance contracts within the highways middot;Excellent communication skills middot;Able work within Glasgow area Package for the Operations Engineer: middot;GBP55,000-GBP60,000 per annum middot;Annual salary reviews middot;Benefits package middot;26 days holiday increasing with service, and bank holidays on top middot;Training and development opportunities middot;Opportunity to contribute to busy highways projects FOOTNOTE: If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
