Operations Manager | Munster/Leinster | c. euro;75k, Car, Bonus, Pension, Hybrid Benefits Leading international civil engineering group with Irish division is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Operations Manager to take a leading role initially based in Munster but national coverage. You will oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the running of the ongoing projects strong background in civil engineering and/or geotechnical engineering is beneficial). You will manage equipment, personnel and subcontractors for the day-to-day operations. Duties: bull; Plan for upcoming projects including organisation of required plant, personnel, and subcontractors. bull; Preparation of site documentation including RAMS, lift plans, bull; Manage company fleet and equipment ensuring it is well maintained. bull; Manage site personnel and oversee performance. bull; Assist in preparing financial proposals for future projects, track project expenditure during execution. bull; and optimise where possible. bull; Provide technical and commercial guidance to engineers and site staff as necessary. bull; Oversee projects and ensure successful delivery. bull; Representation of the client in the construction market Requirements: bull; 5 plus years rsquo; experience in a similar construction management role bull; Travel within Ireland a necessity due to site/project visits. bull; Knowledge of management, procurement, supervision, and interpretation of ground investigations, bull; piling works, ground improvement works or other ground works. bull; It is beneficial to have a qualified degree within a relevant discipline in bull; Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management bull; It is beneficial to have understating of geotechnical engineering, ground works, ground improvement, bull; foundations, retaining structures, site investigations, piling or slope stability works. bull; Ability to work on own initiative and collaborate when necessary. bull; Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, AutoCad.
