Music teacher

Music teacher - Bolton - September start Prospero teaching are working closely with a secondary school in Bolton for the upcoming academic year. All candidates will need to hold qualified teacher status and have recent experience teaching music in a UK school. The successful candidate will be required to have recently taught key stage 3 4 classes and ideally have steered students to gain excellent exam results. This role is a full-time position for the whole of the upcoming academic year, from September until July 2025. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students in their classes both practical and theory and be able to demonstrate good behaviour and classroom management. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Bolton Position Music Teacher with QTS Start date September 2024 Duration - full academic year Contract type Full Time Minimum rate of pay GBP153 per day Hours 8:00AM 4:00PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, SCITT or equivalent Previous experience teaching Music in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, but training can be provided) Up to date Prevent awareness FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, but training can be provided) Music teaching experience in the UK desired TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Have a valid and recognised teaching qualification Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional teaching related references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
