Support worker

Support Worker - Long Term Shift work available now!!** We are currently looking for care assistants and support workers to work with our clients based in LONDON. Working alongside professional staff and responsible for providing a high level of care, your duties will include motivating and encouraging service users to be as active as possible, promoting independence, supporting with emotional and physical needs, assisting with dressing, shopping, social engagements, and meal preparation. Providing personal care (e.g., assisting with toileting) is also an essential part of the role. You will be part of the care team, working alongside other care assistants, nurses, and support workers, and you will also interact with families of the residents. You must have good, clear communication skills (written and verbal) and have a positive, friendly personality You should: * Hold a valid DBS or be prepared to undertake a new one * Have at least 1 year UK experience in the care sector * Have a good level of English (written verbal) skills * Be comfortable providing personal care * Be flexible and able to work a wide range of shift patterns If you have a DBS that is registered with the online update service, we can offer you work more quickly. You must be able to provide 5 years references and either have all mandatory training in date, or be prepared to complete this prior to starting your assignment.
