Waking Night Support Workers (Level 3 - Children) Location: Devon Salary: GBP13.50 - GBP15.50 per hour (DOE) + Excellent Benefits Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time and Part-Time positions available) The Client: Our client, a newly opened children #39;s home, is deeply devoted to creating an enriching and stable space for the growth of young individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism. The Role: As a Waking Night Support Workers, you will play a pivotal role in offering comprehensive holistic care to children, contributing to their growth and development. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality holistic care and support Assist in shaping the lives of young individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism Contribute to the team and adapt effectively to dynamic challenges Offer assessment for short- or long-term support for young people aged between 8 - 18 yrs Work night shifts on a rotational basis, ensuring support continuity Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of experience working with children and young people Previous experience with children and young people is essential Hold Level 3 in Childcare Youth Work / Health Social Care Experience supporting vulnerable individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism Display moderate to high computer literacy Must have a full clean UK driving licence Shift: Timings from 9:30 pm until 7:30 am 40 hours per week and 30 hours per week Weekends and Bank Holidays, Benefits: On-site parking Complimentary meals Blue Light Card membership Clear avenues for career progression Enhanced pay rates for Bank Holidays worked Bonus pay related to yearly OFSTED registration Opportunities for additional qualifications through learning and development programs Ready to make a difference?
