Sen teaching assistant

A welcoming primary school located in Camden have approached us with regards to an SEN 1-1 role available in their school. They are currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school long-term, with the opportunity to go permanent in September. The school offers a wealth of support, and you would be closely working with the SENCO, Senior Leadership and Classroom Teachers to enhance the outcomes for their students As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of learning and behavioural needs. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting students in the classroom to ensure their engagement and understanding. Providing one-on-one support to students with behavioural and social needs Collaborating with teachers and the SEN department to create tailored learning plans. Encouraging independence, confidence, and a love for learning among students. To excel in this role, you should have: A genuine passion for working with students with SEN. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach. A willingness to collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress.
