FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE - PERMANENT ROLE*** M E Quantity Surveyor (within the COMMERCIAL / OFFICE / RETAIL / LEISURE) REQUIRED Location: Greater Manchester Start Date: ASAP Salary: GBP60,000 - 65,000kpa + Package The Company: My client is a reputable and well-established M E building services contractor with a successful track record in delivering high-quality projects across commercial and industrial, sectors. They operate throughout the UK from their offices in Greater Manchester. Your Role: Look after the commercial, contractual, profitability and cash of contacts. Looking after design build, refit schemes and project works across different work streams ranging from short projects around 1 week up to larger projects around 9 months. The value of projects will also range from tens of thousands to circa GBP1million. The commencement to the completion of projects including measuring, scoping and tendering the works at inception, appointing sub-contractors, managing and reporting the works throughout, dealing with both subcontractors and client payments and their final accounting of all works upon completion. Your Knowledge / Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in construction (ideally main contractor or fit-out contractor) JCT Contractual Arrangements Schedule of rates and/or frameworks Background in M E Commercial Reporting IT Number Skills Identifying and managing riskYour Qualifications: BTEC, HND/HNC (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other construction related studies (preferred) Qualified under CIOB or RICS If you would like to be considered for this rare and exciting new opportunity, please send your: CV to Calico at MCG Construction to: Or call Calico on: (phone number removed)
