Fabricator

Morson are exclusively looking for 6 Skilled Fabricators based at GKN Aerospace in Filton. It is a 12 month contract but is likely to become permanent., The working hours are 35 hours per week over 4 days, Monday - Thursday or Tuesday to Friday (with 2 weeks notice to change shift). The hours are (phone number removed)PM. Job Description: The use of hand, electrical and pneumatic tools and bending machines to shape, form and assemble metal products within drawing limits. Desired abilities to include (but not limited to): bull; Use of jigs to assemble parts made from stainless steel, titanium or aluminium bull; Fitting bull; Swaging bull; Measuring machinery and jigs bull; Awareness of recognised quality process, i.e. ISO 9001, AS/EN9100, or similar Qualifications: A recognised and relevant apprenticeship or the equivalent NVQ standard. Previous manufacturing experience in a factory environment would be desirable. Key Skills: bull; Ability to understand technical drawings/limits. bull; Must be able to work in small teams with Process Team Leaders bull; Self-motivated team player with good communication skills Weekday overtime increases to GBP23.31 (GBP24.27 when stamp achieved) Weekend Overtime increases to GBP27.98 (GBP29.13 when stamp achieved)
