Position: Behaviour Support Mentor (1:1 Support) Location: Mainstream Primary School, Widnes Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-time, long-term commitment required Overview: Tradewind Recruitment is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Mentor to provide one-to-one support for a Key Stage 2 child in a mainstream primary school located in Widnes. This full-time position requires a commitment to a long-term contract to ensure continuity and stability for the child #39;s needs. Key Responsibilities: Providing one-to-one behaviour support to a Key Stage 2 child, fostering a positive and supportive relationship. Implementing tailored strategies to manage and improve the child #39;s behaviour. Assisting with the child #39;s academic, social, and emotional development. Working closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to create and follow an effective support plan. Monitoring and recording the child #39;s progress and adapting support as necessary. Promoting a safe and inclusive environment that encourages the child #39;s engagement and participation.Requirements: Experience supporting children or adults in a similar capacity. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children with behavioural needs. Commitment to a long-term role to provide stability and consistency for the child.
