Site based maintenance electrician

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis, who are a leading provider in facilities management solutions, delivering top-tier services across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance within commercial settings, as they will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. This is a site based position, working in the City Centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. Package: Competitive salary of GBP34,000 per annum Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) Participation in an lsquo;out of hours rsquo; on call rota (to be confirmed) 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Generous workplace pension scheme Training, development progression opportunitiesResponsibilities: Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimise downtime and ensure the longevity of electrical equipment Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement effective solutions to restore functionality Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, such as wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate repairs and upgrades Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environmentQualifications: Qualified to at least City Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role within the facilities management industry Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork abilitiesIf you are a dedicated Maintenance Electrician looking for a rewarding career opportunity, please apply with your full CV or contact Aaron Rutter at CBW Staffing Solutions
