This accounts assistant job will suit someone who is keen to learn and develop their career within accountancy. Your remit is to support the Finance Manager in the running of the accounts department as well as get involved in other areas of running a small business (from time to time!) The ideal candidate will numerate, confident, keen to learn and a team player. The Accounts Assistant Job in Poole * Supporting the Finance Manager with the month end process * Taking ownership of the sales and purchase ledger * Prepare (assist with) the VAT returns, process expenses, bank reconciliations * Support the credit control processes * Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts * Book-Keeping - Xero Accounting * General office administration - helping out within the team Who should apply for the Accounts Assistant job? * An Accounts Assistant/Finance Assistant keen to continue with their career possibly someone keen to continue or start their AAT studies * Someone looking for a step into accountancy who is numerate and keen to learn * Strong Excel and IT skills * A team player, flexible, hands on individual * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * An Individual keen to work for a small business, happy to support one another working as a close -knit friendly and supportive team.
