The ECT As a KS2 ECT, you will have a bachelor rsquo;s degree in education, or a related field, and will have completed, or will be completing, a PGCE with QTS. You will be committed to the education and support of young learners and will utilise your warm personality to build strong bonds with the pupils and staff. You will be driven to pursue a successful career in teaching and will be dedicated to upholding safeguarding processes to ensure your classroom is a safe and secure place to be. The Role In your KS2 ECT role, you will be undertaking your induction and will partake in planning and delivering engaging lessons and creating learning materials that suit each individual pupil rsquo;s needs. You will be monitoring and tracking pupils progress to ensure that all pupils fulfil their full potential and provide constructive feedback to children and parents. In order to maintain a positive learning environment, you will create strong relationships with pupils and colleagues and will enthusiastically engage in activities with the wider school environment.
