Job title: Section Manager - Rail Track Type: Permanent Location: South Wales, Newport Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + benefits Role You will be expected to co-ordinate activities of construction and associated works with Pway works and to deliver construction work safely to the level of quality expected by the company on site; to budget and in line with all relevant standards, processes and procedures. Permanent way section managing. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Undertaking the role of construction manager for projects across route Controlling all on site technical activities and man power Rail engineering co-ordination across sites and work packages Management of supervisors, team leaders and opsEssential requirements: Comprehensive understanding of rail track Safety Management training.
