Senior civil engineer

The team operate throughout the UK assisting our diverse clientele with a range of interesting projects, from houses to hotels, racetracks to restaurants or schools to sports grounds. Due to continued exceptional workloads the team are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer, with expertise in drainage, to play a pivotal role as a key member of the team within the Fleet office. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will assist with the design and implementation of innovative drainage solutions, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and environmental best practices. Your extensive experience in highways design will be instrumental in spearheading cutting-edge projects that prioritise innovation, safety, and the development of resilient, sustainable infrastructure. Main Duties middot;Ensure designs are delivered within programme and within the budget provided; middot;Managing resource allocations to ensure team members are fully utilised on the highest priority tasks; middot;Work with the Senior Management Team to assist with projects from other offices and disciplines; middot;Ensuring that the requirements of all relevant Authorities and Statutory bodies are incorporated into designs, as appropriate; middot;Undertaking and checking / authorising design information and reports providing effective feedback; middot;Ensuring that all designs are prepared in accordance with MCHW,DMRB and/or local design guidance; middot;Encouraging innovation and continuous improvement within the team and displaying sound independent judgement, and; middot;Complying with relevant Health Safety legislation, particularly the CDM Regulations and adopting a pro-active risk management / mitigation approach. Desirable Requirements middot;Experience in the provision of cost-estimates, middot;Member of a relevant Charted Institute, middot;Hold a valid UK driving license Salary: From GBP45,000.00 - GBP55,000.00 per annum
