Maintenance engineer

A great opportunity to join a successful logistics / automation company as a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer working at a well-known retailer rsquo;s automated distribution centre in Derbyshire. This role will suit Maintenance Engineers located in East Derbyshire, South Nottingham, North Leicester, or Burton on Trent / Swadlincote areas. Salary up to cGBP49,000 (including shift premium) + Paid OT Panama shift pattern (12 hour days and nights) Day to day activities of a Maintenance Engineer include : Reactive maintenance Planned maintenance Electro-mechanical engineering Controls fault finding Problem analysis and continuous improvement Looking for multi skilled Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineers, ideally with an understanding of PLC rsquo;s. Requirements of Maintenance Engineer: Ideally fully apprenticeship trained with electro-mechanical Level 3 qualifications Good level of electrical and mechanical knowledge from a manufacturing or distribution environment Working knowledge of PLC control systems Experience of automated materials handling systems would also be an advantage but not essential Happy to work a panama shift pattern with days and nights.
