Role Overview: Join our team at a vibrant day centre for people with Learning and Physical Disability, Sensory Impairments, and Autism in Bradford as a Deputy Manager. In this dynamic role, you will work alongside the manager to ensure the smooth operation and delivery of our services. Key Responsibilities: middot; Deputize for the manager and assist in overseeing day-to-day operations. middot; Manage staff rotas, providing mentoring, training, and coaching as needed. middot; Ensure the smooth running and delivery of services, including supported activities such as employment, arts and crafts, and recreational outings. middot; Coordinate client activities, including visits to local markets, work experience placements, and cultural excursions. middot; Maintain and oversee the use of centre facilities, including technology resources, kitchen facilities, and recreational areas. middot; Work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, and participate in on-call duties as required. middot; Drive service vehicles as needed, requiring a valid manual driver #39;s license. middot; Would assist and support in the development of new packages and services for the business. Qualifications: middot; Care and supervisory experience within the social care sector not less than 18 months. middot; Flexibility, organization, and a positive approach to challenges. middot; Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. middot; Manual driver #39;s license with a clean driving record.
