Together, we are seeking candidates across the commercial spectrum, from Assistant Quantity Surveyor through to Managing Quantity Surveyor. Candidates from alternative sector backgrounds such as general civil infrastructure, roads sewers, energy, M E, build or residential are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with site / project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. * Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects in the water sector. * Procure materials, subcontractors, and services while ensuring value for money. * Monitor project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle. * Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk management strategies. * Prepare and evaluate subcontractor and supplier contracts. * Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with contractual agreements. * Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting. * Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Qualifications: * Bachelor #39;s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field. * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a preferred focus on Water, Civil Infrastructure or M E. * Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management. * Excellent communication and negotiation skills. * Proficiency in relevant software tools. * Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
