Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Salary: Final Salary based on experience As a BSL-Skilled Teaching Assistant, you #39;ll be the bridge that ensures every student feels seen and heard. Responsibilities: * Provide BSL support to students with hearing impairments, ensuring full access to the curriculum. * Collaborate with teachers to adapt and implement lessons to meet the needs of BSL users. * Foster positive relationships with students, creating an atmosphere of understanding and support. * Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, ensuring BSL is seamlessly integrated. * Support the inclusion of students with hearing impairments in all aspects of school life. * Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming learning environment for all students. Requirements: * Enhanced DBS certificate. * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/education qualifications. * Proficient in British Sign Language (BSL). * Previous experience within a school setting as a Teaching Assistant.
