Technical centre manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Technical Centre Manager in the Automotive industry. Our client, a leading company in the sector, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team. Job purpose As an active member of the Plant management team and Product Engineering organisation, you will be responsible for leading the site interface for supporting functions to PE directors, Chiefs, teams, and site functions (finance, HR, etc.). Your role will involve enabling the development of products and systems to the required cost, performance, and quality targets, while ensuring flawless product launches and customer programs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the Technical Centre teams have the operational tools and resources to execute their activities effectively, focusing on continuous development and improvement plans to maximize team efficiency and competency. In this role, you will deploy corporate targets and define Technical Centre targets to support their achievement. You will review, support, and track plans within the Technical Centres, cascading information to team members and providing feedback to senior management, including escalation of non-resolved issues.
