We rsquo;re partnering with a global publishing company who are on the lookout for Marketing Representatives to deliver their circulation strategy across Europe. If you rsquo;re fluent in English and another language, ideally German or Dutch, enjoy travelling and meeting people face to face, then this could be your perfect next role. About the role They rsquo;re a US-based business and produce free specialist magazines for the agricultural industry. This role is focused on ensuring the magazines are distributed in the right places (shops, petrol stations, service stations) and read by the right audiences across Europe. The best way to see whether this is happening effectively is to be there! So you rsquo;ll be expected to travel roughly once a month and spend a week in your chosen territory ndash; which could be in Germany or The Netherlands. You rsquo;ll visit every magazine distribution point and liaise with the proprietors to gain their feedback to ensure the magazines are being found and read by the people who need them. With your own territory to manage, you rsquo;ll carry out in-depth market research and really understand your target audience so you can identify more distribution points for magazines to widen their reach. You rsquo;ll also gather customer insights and feed this back into the business after every trip. You rsquo;ll also get involved in reader engagement, managing social media channels and creating email marketing campaigns. And you rsquo;ll be expected to plan and be involved in UK based Trade Shows when required. Whilst this isn rsquo;t a sales role, you rsquo;ll be expected to build relationships with businesses and having meaningful conversations face to face and over the phone. What you rsquo;ll need You MUST be FLUENT in both English and Dutch or German A background in customer service, sales or marketing You must be able to commit to travelling abroad a minimum of five days every month or a minimum of 60 days over a year. Trips usually run Sunday to Thursdays, so you rsquo;ll be flexible to work weekends when required too. When you rsquo;re not travelling, you rsquo;ll be based full time in their central Manchester office where the hours are Monday ndash; Friday 0800 ndash; 1700. You rsquo;ll be a self-starter and able to motivate yourself to work independently with the confidence to travel abroad and strike up conversations with customers. You rsquo;ll be comfortable travelling and working abroad alone. You rsquo;ll have a full European Driving Licence and happy to drive abroad.
