Setsquare is currently hiring an Assistant Site manager based in Surrey for a main contractor specialised in industrial development. Please find below the detailed job description. Job Title: Assistant Site manager Job Location: Surrey, office based with site visits Job Duration: PERM The role is dynamic in nature to cater the business to help manage new build Industrial / Commercial projects. You will be expected to work with the Managing Director and Construction Director and help on operational duties on defect projects as well as being able to produce O M manuals, Q/A and site set up on new sites. All sites are supported by a Site Manager, Design Manager, Site Engineer and Quantity Surveyor. Key duties will be - Visiting the Sites and identifying the defects and resources required to cater the job. Maintain constant contact with all sub-contractors to ensure adherence to the set programme. Regularly review timings, labour, materials and plant and project plans to ensure work stays on programme Give toolbox talks Assist with site set up Be able to lead on H S Work closely with site/project managers direct or sub-contracted Manage Q/A and LogisticsEssential experience needed - SSSTS, CSCS First Aid qualified My client are looking to pay a competitive day rate and looking to start ASAP but the client is happy to wait if the candidate has a notice period.
