Lead fatigue damage tolerance engineer

Lead Fatigue Damage Tolerance (F DT) Engineer Filton 3-month Contract Paying up to GBP50p/h DOE (umbrella) ARM has partnered with a large Aerospace client who looking for an experienced Lead Fatigue Damage Tolerance (F DT) Engineer to work out of their site based in Filton. As the Lead Fatigue Damage Tolerance (F DT) Engineer, you #39;ll be responsible for performing and/or sign-off F DT analysis within the A330 team based In Filton Responsibilities: * Analysis of metallic structures using company tool sets and processes. * Compilation of F DT certification dossiers, and technical reports and provide input to design review presentations. * Approval of F DT certification dossiers and technical reports. * Liaise with engineers and component teams to deliver design and certification deliverables e.g. dossiers, technical reports, etc * Progress reporting to the Head of Engineering. Experience required: * Proven experience within an aerospace environment. * Degree in Engineering or relevant discipline. * #39;Hands-on #39; experience of air frame certification analysis; knowledge of Wing structures preferred. * Be a delegated F DT approval level signature. * Prior knowledge of Airbus F DT analysis tools, methods, and FEA. * Strong working knowledge of Nastran, Python scripting, and ISAMI preferred. * Ability to meet the agreed delivery plan and report the progression of deliverables.
