Junior mechanical estimator

Working with a large portfolio of public and private sector clients, our UK based organisation comprises of several divisions including Mechanical Electrical, Construction, Projects, Reactive, FM, Small Works and other associated trades Position Through continuous growth BJF M E division is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will have 3 years rsquo; experience in building services and shall be responsible in assisting with the production of detailed and accurate Mechanical estimates on both traditional and design build projects. Using drawings and specifications to help produce competitive tenders. Taking off quantities off drawings/specifications/bills of quantities. Producing complete mechanical estimates up to GBP5m using estimating software. Ensuring that all bids submitted are technically correct and commercially accurate. Producing tender packages for subcontractors and reviewing returned documents. Requirements Minimum of 3 years in industry related contracting OND/HND/DEGREE Building Services/Mechanical or a related discipline or equivalent experience/ Practical experience on site. CSCS Card Holder Duties will include but not limited to: Using drawings and specifications to help produce competitive tenders. Taking off quantities off drawings/specifications/bills of quantities.
