Job Title: Senior IT Support Engineer Location: Middlewich, Cheshire Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 PLUS 30 Days Holiday rising with service, Vendor Certifications / Qualifications, Private Pension, Private Healthcare, Pool Cars / Vans We are currently looking for a confident, technical Senior IT Support Engineer to join a market leading Managed Service Provider based in Middlewich, Cheshire. As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise and support to clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their IT systems and infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with your team to deliver exceptional IT solutions tailored to meet clients #39; needs. You will also be an escalation point for more junior members of the team, whilst carrying out new and exciting projects! Key Responsibilities: bull; Provide high level technical support to clients, resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues. bull; Proactively monitor and maintain clients #39; IT systems to minimize disruptions and downtime. bull; Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement new projects and solutions. bull; Mentor junior members of the support team, sharing knowledge and best practices. bull; Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices to continuously improve service delivery. Requirements: bull; Previous experience in IT support roles, preferably within the Managed Services Sector. bull; Expert knowledge of Windows server environments. bull; Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Sharepoint, OneDrive) bull; Strong Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMWare etc.) bull; Networking (Switching, Routing, Firewall Protocols) bull; DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP bull; Azure, Entra, Intune If you are ready to take the next step in your IT career and join a leading Managed Service Provider, we want to hear from you!
