Administration team leader

A leading organisation based in Winchester is seeking an Administration Team Leader to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previous Team Leader experience ideally appraisals, interviews, holiday and absence management. In addition to an attractive salary this company has an extensive range of staff benefits, working on a hybrid basis office based 3 days per week - 35 hours per week Someone who will thrive working to tight deadlines whilst taking responsibility for staff development and the organisation and prioritising of the Teams workload. You will be well organised, personable as well as being accessible and approachable for team members. Able to roll your sleeves up and assist with the admin support duties as required, but above all you will have proven Team Leader experience. Key duties: * Manage all aspects of people management, from performance to absence management; (including any approved leave, ensuring appropriate cover) * Manage staff development and ensure staff remain motivated, challenged with appropriate workloads and that they receive the appropriate training and guidance * Carry out appraisals * Anticipate areas where problems are likely to arise and implement preventative measures * Take a proactive role in recruitment, identify suitable candidates and carry out interviews * Work collaboratively with the London team and making resources available to provide cross location support if needed * Ensure that all work is being logged accurately and promptly * Identifying daily priorities and allocate work accordingly * Planning scheduled long-term tasks, including overseeing the agreement of a plan of action with relevant parties and monitoring progress, ensuring there is appropriate communication with all relevant parties * Complete weekly reports for the management team If you do not hear from a consultant within 1 week of your application then unfortunately, on this occasion, you have been unsuccessful
