Behaviour and Learning Support Assistant Start date: Immediate and September starts available Hourly rate: GBP12.82 per hour Hours: Full- time Monday-Friday 8:30-15:00 (term-time only) Location: Bournemouth and Christchurch GSL Education are seeking Behaviour and Learning Support Assistants to work in our local mainstream primary schools situated in Bournemouth and Christchurch. This role centres around supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), largely on a one-to-one basis, so that the pupils can access the learning and receive the tailored support and provision that they need. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing quality SEN provision, knowledge on a range of behaviour management strategies, and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of the pupils. Having experience within a school setting would be beneficial, as well as having experience working with children or adults with SEN. The successful candidate will have the ability to support the class teacher to engage learners, meet individual needs, and communicate effectively with the pupils they are working with. The role is available for an immediate start, full-time, however the schools may also consider part-time applicants.
