Teaching assistant

At Excell Supply, we are an Education Supply Agency, who supply teachers and teaching assistants to schools on a long- and short-term basis. This can be anything from day-to-day cover to long term contracts in school. The areas we cover include North Wales, Cheshire, Wirral and Shropshire. We have been established since 2011 and have a passion for finding our Teachers and Teaching assistants their ideal roles. The Role We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in Primary schools in the Chester area. We have a range of full and part time supply available. bull;As a TA your role and responsibilities include: bull;Providing support on a 1:1 basis bull;Promoting good behaviour / managing challenging behaviour bull;Aiding pupils in their learning as effectively as possible bull;Helping children with additional educational needs bull;Providing feedback on learning and development to the teacher bull;Creating and maintaining an orderly and supportive learning environment bull;Administrative tasks What we are looking for To be considered for these roles, you will need to be someone who has a caring and nurturing personality, who is able to build rapport with children, but also effectively manage challenging behaviour. A teaching assistant qualification would be ideal but not essential and experience working with Primary age children would be preferred.
