Asset Manager Required Location: Bristol Salary: GBP52,000 per annum + benefits Length of contract: Permanent Role Overview: Our client is a leading housing association in Bristol who truly look after their people, whether it is personally developing their staff or keeping their tenants safe and part of a community. They are looking for an Asset Manager to manage their homes, ensuring high levels of customer care and ensuring they are in the best condition, whilst making sure works are managed effectively. Key Responsibilities: * Formulate and implement Asset Management Strategy * Participate in setting maintenance budgets * Maintain stock condition, values, and assets data * Coordinate with Development team on new asset standards * Engage and communicate effectively with customers * Stay updated on legislation and best practices; suggest policy changes * Support #39;Out of Hours #39; service * Set, achieve, and be accountable for team performance targets * Lead and support teams for optimal performance and development * Contribute expertise to organizational discussions and decision-making. About You: * Higher education qualification or relevant construction/maintenance/building qualification/experience * Experience in social housing and property-related Asset Project Management * Knowledge of creating and implementing maintenance programs and business plan forecasts * Excellent customer service and team leadership skills * Practical knowledge of asbestos, CDM Regulations, and Safe Systems of Working. * Experience in risk identification and management * Understanding of legislation, policy, and regulatory frameworks in asset management If you would like to discuss this opportunity, please contact Ellie Benson at DK Recruitment
