Cover supervisor

We are seeking to appoint Cover Supervisors, to stand in for absent full-time staff members and provide indispensable support. Cover supervision work is a fantastic opportunity to support students across a variety of disciplines and have a meaningful impact on the education of young people, without the responsibilities of full-time teaching. For those candidates who may be thinking about starting teacher training or want to go into educational psychology, working as a cover supervisor can provide you with vital hands-on classroom experience! You duties as a cover supervisor: Stand in for absent members of staff and deliver pre-planned lessons. Manage student behaviour and ensure that they are engaging with the lesson and learning activities. Create a positive and engaging learning environment. Support and monitor pupil progress.What you will need to apply: Previous experience supporting children and the ability to provide references to confirm this. Enthusiasm for teaching and motivated to help students to succeed. The ability to manage classroom behaviour. Right to work in the UK.Why work with Smile Education?
