Motivated and hold high expectations for all learners, particularly those with behaviour or emotional difficulties. Committed to working collaboratively within the whole school community. Capable of contributing positively to the broader life of the school beyond the classroom. Qualifications or Certificates: - A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is required. - Additional training or certification in behaviour management, emotional support, or SEN education is advantageous. Experience: Previous experience working in a Special School or similar environment with children aged 4 to 13 with behaviour or emotional difficulties is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to prioritise the well-being and learning progress of students. Proven interpersonal skills, maintaining high standards and expectations for all learners. Experience in promoting and embodying the vision, aims, and ethos of a school community. Brief Overview of the Role: The successful candidate will work in a Special School environment, providing support to children aged 4 to 13 with behaviour or emotional difficulties. This role entails placing the well-being and learning of pupils at the forefront, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and other agencies.
