Your adaptability, enthusiasm, and passion for education will be key as you step into different classrooms, providing valuable support to teachers and students alike. Your responsibilities will include: Delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities under the guidance of classroom teachers, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning in their absence. Providing support and guidance to students, promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning activities. Assisting with classroom management and organisation, including setting up resources and maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment. Building positive relationships with students, staff, and school communities to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Supporting the overall ethos and values of each school while adhering to policies and procedures. Primary HLTA Requirements: Relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or Cover Supervisor within a primary school setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all ages and abilities. Adaptability, resilience, and a flexible approach to working in different school environments and with diverse student populations. A positive attitude, enthusiasm for learning, and a commitment to promoting the holistic development of every child. A valid DBS certificate (Enhanced Disclosure), or willingness to undergo a DBS check prior to employment.
