We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in September for a full-time, long-term role. Role and Responsibilities: As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individual students, helping them to achieve their full potential academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include: Providing personalised support in line with the student #39;s individual education plan (IEP). Assisting the student with classroom tasks and ensuring they remain focused and engaged. Adapting learning activities and materials to meet the student #39;s unique needs. Supporting the student #39;s social and emotional development through positive reinforcement. Collaborating with the class teacher and special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) to monitor and report on the student #39;s progress. Creating an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment. Promoting the student #39;s independence and self-confidence.Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate will possess: A relevant qualification in education or childcare. Previous experience working with children in a 1:1 support role, preferably in a primary school setting. A patient, compassionate, and nurturing approach to working with children. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. A proactive and flexible attitude.
