We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate of Maths to join our Maths Department and support our mission to deliver outstanding mathematics education. The Role: As a Graduate of Maths, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff in the Maths Department. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson delivery, providing one-to-one and small group support, preparing teaching materials, and contributing to the overall development of the maths curriculum. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the preparation and delivery of maths lessons, ensuring they are engaging and accessible for all students. - Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them to understand complex mathematical concepts and improve their academic performance. - Prepare teaching materials and resources for practical exercises and classroom activities. - Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment. - Contribute to the continuous development of the maths curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions. Requirements: - A recent degree in Mathematics or a related field. - A passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. - Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - A commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
